Is there a way to get a proper figure before the actual date instead of finding out that morning?
Go check the guideline value for that exact survey number through the IGRS AP portal or ask directly at the sub-registrar office, then ask them for the full break up. It's charged on whichever is higher between the guideline value and your agreed consideration, and there are other components on top of stamp duty, so don't budget off just one number someone quoted you verbally.
