Survey number on the sale agreement doesn't match what shows on Meebhoomi for this Guntur industrial plot

Small discrepancy between the survey number written on the sale agreement and what comes up when I search on Meebhoomi for the same plot boundary the seller pointed out on site. Could be a typo, could be something else. How would you go about actually sorting this out before proceeding.

don't assume typo, go to the local revenue office and get it clarified in writing, survey numbers sometimes get subdivided and old numbers stop matching current records, but you need the actual clarification not a guess

also pull the EC for the survey number as it appears on Meebhoomi now, not the one on the old agreement, and see if the registered history lines up with what the seller's telling you

this happened to us too, turned out to be a genuine subdivision from years back, took a couple of visits to the tehsildar office to get it straightened out

good catch on your part honestly, a lot of people wouldn't have noticed the mismatch at all
