Guideline value for industrial land in Guntur seems way off from what we agreed — now what

We settled on a price with the seller directly but when I asked around about the guideline value for that survey number, it sounds like it could be quite different from our agreed figure. Not sure how this actually plays out at registration time and whether it changes anything about the deal itself.

Registration charges apply on whichever is higher between the guideline value and your agreed consideration, so get the exact current guideline value confirmed at the SRO or through the IGRS AP portal before you're at the counter, don't go off what someone told you secondhand.

worth asking the SRO directly since guideline values do get revised periodically and what you heard might not be current

same thing happened with a plot we bought, confirmed figure at the office cleared up a lot of confusion before the actual date
