Airport-led growth has brought a lot of new ventures up around Shamshabad and every broker swears theirs is approved. Beyond taking someone's word for it or trusting the hoarding at the entrance, what's the actual way to confirm a layout is legitimate?
Cross-check the LP number they give you directly against HMDA's own list of approved layouts, not the board at the site entrance. Boards get put up before approval comes through too, that's not proof of anything on its own.
Also worth knowing some HMDA-approved layouts stay mortgaged to the authority until the internal infrastructure is actually completed. Approved doesn't automatically mean free and clear to register immediately either, ask specifically.
Hadn't heard about the mortgage-to-authority part at all, will ask directly next time instead of assuming approved means done and dusted.
