First step is pulling the current guideline value for that survey number/village off the IGRS Telangana portal, since duty is charged on whichever is higher between that and your actual consideration. Don't rely on last year's figure either, these get revised - check it fresh close to your date and confirm the exact applicable rate with the SRO before arranging funds.
This, and keep a margin over whatever number you calculate, ours came slightly higher than expected because of a classification difference the SRO clerk pointed out.
We just went to the SRO office directly and asked them to work it out for us rather than trust an online calculator someone shared on a forum, felt safer that way.
