Registering a vacant land parcel at the Karimnagar sub-registrar - what's the actual sequence

Plain open plot registration, no structure on it, buying from a family selling off some inherited land. Want to understand what actually happens step by step on the registration date since it's my first time without any building involved.

Sequence is largely the same as any registration - document presentation, biometric and photo of both parties, the sub-registrar reads through the deed, and they'll pull the encumbrance certificate to confirm nothing's registered against that survey number between your agreement date and the registration date. For inherited land specifically, make sure every legal heir is actually named as a seller, a missing heir causes problems down the line.

Yes, get a family tree / heirship confirmed clearly beforehand, this trips up a lot of inherited land deals.

Did you need the pattadar passbook details matched at the SRO itself or is that only checked separately on Bhu Bharati?
