Looking at a plotted industrial layout near Khammam, the developer's brochure mentions a RERA registration number. Genuinely unsure if plotted developments like this fall under RERA at all or if that's just marketing language. Anyone know how to check this properly?
Plotted layouts do get registered under RERA in Telangana in a lot of cases, don't assume either way, search the number yourself on rera.telangana.gov.in against the registered projects list.
Check the promoter name matches exactly what's on the brochure too, sometimes the registration is under a different group entity than the one marketing the plots.
Also look at the declared completion date for infra like roads and drainage in the layout, registration doesn't mean the promised infra is actually done yet.
Ended up finding the registration was for a different phase than what was being sold to us, worth double checking phase-wise if it's a big layout.
