How do I verify an industrial plot's record before buying near Kurnool? (Meebhoomi)

Looking at a plot inside an industrial estate near Kurnool. Agent says it was originally allotted by the state industrial corporation. It used to be agricultural land before that. Want to independently check the history rather than just take his word for it.

Meebhoomi will show you the adangal/1-B for the original agricultural survey number before it was handed over. But once it's allotted by the industrial corporation, your primary document becomes the allotment letter and whatever lease or sale deed the corporation issued — that's what actually governs the plot now, not the old Meebhoomi entry.

Read the allotment terms carefully — some of these estate plots are long-lease arrangements, not outright freehold sale. Big difference for resale later.

Does EC even apply the same way for corporation-allotted land, or is it a different process entirely?

Best to ask the industrial corporation's regional office directly for the current status on file, don't rely only on the agent's paperwork.

My plot took a fair while to get the physical possession letter even after registration went through, so factor that delay in if you're planning to start construction soon after.
