How do I verify an open plot's record near Ongole before I book it? Confused where to even start

Broker has shown me a plot in a small layout near Ongole and keeps rushing me toward booking. Before I put down anything I want to at least check the land record myself. Where do I go for that and what am I actually supposed to be reading once I find the record?

Start with Meebhoomi. Pull the Adangal and 1-B for the survey number the plot sits in. You're checking the recorded pattadar name against whoever is claiming to sell you the plot, or against the chain of documents connecting them to the recorded owner. If the layout itself has an LP or approval number, ask for that too and don't just trust the board at the site.

and pull an EC through registration.ap.gov.in separately, that's a different check from the Meebhoomi record, both matter

did both of these before my purchase, took a weekend but worth it, found a small mismatch in survey number between the brochure and Meebhoomi that the broker had no good answer for

that's exactly the kind of thing I'm worried about finding out too late. thanks, will do both before booking anything
