Registering an agricultural land plot at the Rajahmundry sub-registrar — what actually happens on the day

Buying a small piece of delta land near Rajahmundry from a joint family — multiple legal heirs involved on the seller's side. Want to know how that actually plays out on registration day compared to a straightforward single-owner sale.

Every heir with a documented share needs to be present, or send a registered GPA holder in their place. Biometrics are taken for each person individually, and missing even one heir's signature can stall the whole registration.

Get any informal family understanding put on paper — a release deed or similar — before the appointment day. Don't leave that part verbal.
