Meebhoomi shows a different extent than what the seller is claiming for a land parcel near Tirupati

Small mismatch between what the seller says is the plot extent and what shows up when I pull the adangal on Meebhoomi, difference isn't huge but enough that I want to understand before paying advance. Is this a common thing to sort out or should it worry me more than it seems to.

extent mismatches happen, sometimes from old survey inaccuracies, sometimes from partial sales over generations that never got cleanly updated, get a fresh survey/measurement done rather than relying on either number blindly.

also check the mother deed and link documents for how the extent was described historically, if it's been consistent across past transactions that's reassuring, if it's shifted each time that's more of a flag.

pull the EC alongside this too so you see the full transaction history, not just current extent.

getting a surveyor out this week, will check link documents in parallel.
