Buying an existing warehouse shed in Vijayawada vs building one — anyone done both

An existing shed is up for sale near a logistics cluster, structure looks decent from outside but it's about ten years old. Wondering whether it's better to just build fresh on a plot instead, given I don't fully know the shed's construction quality or if there were any structural issues over the years.

Get a structural engineer to inspect before you decide anything, ten years isn't old for a shed if it was built properly. Building fresh takes time and approvals you might not want to deal with right now.

also ask for the original building plan sanction and check if what's standing actually matches it, additions done later without approval are common with older sheds
