How do I check an industrial plot's record on Meebhoomi before I pay token amount

Broker sent me a survey number for an industrial plot and says everything's clear. I'd rather check myself before handing over any token money. What am I actually supposed to be looking at on Meebhoomi to make sense of the record, and is that enough on its own or should I be doing something else alongside it.

Look up the adangal and 1-B for that survey number and match the owner name against what's on the sale agreement and the seller's ID. If there's a mismatch, ask why before you go any further, don't accept a vague explanation.

Meebhoomi is a good first filter but it's not the full picture. Also check the EC through registration.ap.gov.in to see the registered transaction history, and get the link documents from the seller going back a reasonable number of years.

if it's been converted from agricultural to non-agricultural use at some point, ask for whatever paperwork exists for that too, don't just take the seller's word that it's fine for industrial use

agree on getting your own EC copy, we once relied on a seller-provided one that conveniently stopped a few years short of a pending dispute
