Satyanarayanapuram plots — mostly small subdivided pieces from what I've seen, is that normal for this area?

Every listing I find in Satyanarayanapuram is a smaller subdivided piece rather than anything from a large fresh layout. Wondering if that's just how the area developed over time and what that means for diligence versus a bigger, newer layout elsewhere.

Older, more built-up localities near the city core often look exactly like that, original larger holdings subdivided over generations among family members. Nothing wrong with it, but check the partition history carefully, ideally through the EC and by asking directly how the current owner came to hold that specific sub-divided piece. Family partitions that were never properly registered are the thing to watch for.

Also worth confirming boundaries physically since subdivided pieces sometimes have informal boundary understandings among relatives that were never surveyed precisely.
