Seeing plenty of plot listings in and around Vijayawada on OLX, prices and photos look fine, but I've heard enough stories to be cautious before even calling. What's the first-pass filter people here use before treating an OLX listing as worth pursuing at all?
Ask for the survey number and locality upfront, before anything else. If they hesitate or keep deflecting to 'come and see, I'll explain everything', that's usually not a good sign. Once you have the survey number you can independently check the Adangal on Meebhoomi and pull an EC on registration.ap.gov.in without depending on anything the listing tells you.
Also reverse-search the listing photos sometimes. Caught a duplicate listing once, same photos under two different phone numbers.
This whole approach applies well beyond OLX honestly. Never skip the survey-number-first step regardless of where the listing came from.
