For a single-person operation, some people are better off renting and putting spare capital back into the business. Depends entirely on how tied you are to that specific location and whether the space genuinely appreciates the business or is replaceable.
Also factor how long you plan to stay in that exact spot — if your business could move locations without losing customers, owning ties you down more than it helps.
