Found a plot with an actual sea view and I'll admit I'm a little swept up in it. Before I let that cloud my judgement, what should I specifically watch for with coastal plots that wouldn't come up with a regular inland plot?
Depending on how close it actually sits to the shoreline, coastal plots can fall under restrictions on what you're allowed to construct. Get that checked locally with whoever handles it in that jurisdiction before you assume you can build whatever you like, this is on top of the usual EC and title checks, not instead of them.
Also check road access and drainage properly. A sea view plot with a bad approach road or waterlogging issue is still a bad approach road and a waterlogging issue, view or no view.
Agree with both of these, don't let the view do the deciding for you.
