Going through listings near Warangal and the terms 'land' and 'plot' seem to be used loosely, sometimes for the same kind of parcel. Trying to understand what genuinely changes for me as a buyer depending on which one it actually is.
A 'plot' properly means a demarcated unit inside an approved, non-agricultural layout with its own plot number on a sanctioned plan. 'Agricultural land' is still farm-classified revenue land, buyable, but not meant for construction until it's converted (NALA) and, if it's meant to be a residential plot, laid out and approved separately. A lot of listings blur this on purpose because 'plot' sounds more finished. Always ask directly which one it actually is and ask for the paperwork that proves it, don't go by the listing title.
This tripped me up initially too, assumed 'plot' meant approved and it wasn't.
